inScribe is a bi-annual print and web-based journal that aims to share and inspire meaningful encounters with the world through the diverse art of creative writing. inScribe’s August printed edition’s cover image belongs to this Sydney portrait and landscape artist.

Heart Wide Open
This short story was accepted for publication in the 2019 Stories of Life anthology. Heart Wide Open is a true story of faith, of loss, of hope and a teenage girl and two dogs; one sick and another a stray who came to stay, and the question of God’s goodness in between.
